Keep singularly in a minimum habitat size of 30x24x18. Exercise and play stands are recommended for daily play outside of their habitat. They are an intermediate care level species that requires regular play outside of the habitat and in enrichment toys inside the habitat. Daily spot cleaning of the cage, water and food dishes is required. Weekly deep cleaning is recommended. Rotation of enrichment toys/materials specific to canaries is recommended
