bring back the old hairball control formula
Why did you change the formula? What is wrong with you people? You have a product that is obviously successful; a product that consumers know works well and you CHANGE IT! Please bring back the original Greenies Smart Bites Hairball Control treats. My cats loved them and it did exactly what you advertised it would do. I hadn't had any hairball incidents in months because of the old formula but with the new formula my cats are barfing up hairballs left and right. Thanks for making me and my cats miserable.

NEW FORMULA MADE CAT VERY SICK

RATHER CONCERNED
I have a tub of the "hairball control" greenies that expires at the end of next month. I called Greenies customer service line sometime in the last few weeks, and was reassured by the rep that it was just a "marketing decision" to change the name, yet it was still the same? I have the "new formula" and have not opened it yet, and after reading reviews of the "new formula" - I am wondering if it is going to address the "hairball issue?" My cat has inflammatory bowel disease and is already on a very special diet of gastrointestinal food, but these treats were working wonders in controlling her hairballs for "overgrooming" from time to time, and helping to control the vomiting, at least from the "hairballs" (not from other digestive issues?). I thought I had found the "perfect" mix of the greenies hairball pill pockets for her medicine, and giving her the "greenie hairball control treats"? She goes "crazy" over both greenies treats and does not even realize they are "good for her!?" Now I am worried the vomiting will come back from the hairballs with the new formula!? I know some cat food companies make a "hairball control" food, but I cannot put her on those due to her "special diet" that addresses her other digestive issues. The treats were a "perfect" addition to help address that issue. Please consider bringing back the original formula? LIKE ASAP!

Not the same
I do not believe this was simply a name change. If so, why do the instructions say to give my cat 27 Healthy Indoor treats instead of 12 of the old Hairball Control treats?
My biggest issue is how much my cat throws up now. It’s 2-3 times a week versus maybe once a month.
I sure wish I could get the old product back.

Label mystery took some time.
I could not find the hairball control smartbites on the website & had to contact greenies to ask about the hairball control smartbites. To my surprise the container of greenies smartbites that came had the exact same label as always-greenies smartbites hairball control-not indoor formula as I was told. Hmmm-strange.

Not Hairball Control
I have read from the responses that 'Healthy Indoor' is claimed to be the same as 'Hairball Control'.
My cat has thrown up hairballs ever since the formula changed, whilst they were taking the 'hairball control' they did not throw up at all.
I am sure 'Healthy indoor' is a good treat for indoor cats but it does nothing for hairballs.
I don't know what happened with the formula change but please reconsider bringing 'Hairball Control' back, as you have a loyal number of cat owners who would be very grateful!

Name change only???
My kitties have used the hairball treats forever but now apparently they have changed the name but not the formula. However comparing the ingredient list to my old packaging the ingredients are listed differently.which seems to imply there has been a change. Not sure they are working as well for kitties as the old version. We are seeing more throw up piles than usual.

Cat wants her hairball control
I’m afraid you’ve discontinued your hairball control treats. It is the only treat our kitty seems to eat and kept her hairball free. If I can’t find it I can’t buy it. Searching out a replacement is a pain but the kitty must be happy and healthy.

Not the same
I'm not a fan of the newly branded Healthy Indoor treats replacing the Hairball Control. I have been giving my cat Greenies Hairball Control for the past 5 yrs and he has had maybe 2 or 3 hairballs in all that time. Since the switch over- he's had multiple hairballs in the last few weeks alone. It is not the same product. Now I have to try to find another brand for hairball control. I am very disappointed

Good stuff
I like to give my fur babies a variety of different treats to pamper them and they not get bored of the same thing. But they are totally indoor and I like to give them this Greenies FELINE SMARTBITES™ Indoor Care Treats Chicken Flavor because it helps them with the control of the hairballs, so I don't feel so guilty about giving them so many treats. They are picky eaters and yet they love them and always come back for more. A healthy option for our feline children.

Made Cat Sick
Every time I give my cat more than 2 of these he throws up! this last time he threw up 5 times in one hour. It only happens with the hairball control ones - he likes the regular greenies just fine and have never made him sick. Something in this product is causing almost immediate discomfort for my poor kitty

Not Good For Cats
I have 2 cats and both loved greenies...until we bought this kind/type...our cats immediately threw up after eating them. They had little upset tummies. At first we didn't think it was the treats but we saw it was after a few days of not giving the treats then giving it to them. DO NOT BUY THIS KIND FOR CATS. We are very sad and upset this harmed our cats. Never again.

Best Hairball Preventer!
I have a Norwegian Forrest Cat with 6" thick fur. When he gets his recommended dosage of Hairball Control, NO Hairballs! I ran out and tried another brand but my cat would not eat them: it's Greenies or Hairballs, so I make sure I don't run out.

Incredible!
Purchased a small bag just to see if my cats would like them and see if it helps with hair balls. They love it! I can't even pick up the bag. When they hear it they run down from upstairs looking for a treat. Still have to wait a bit (more than a week) to see how much it helps with the one's messy hairballs but so far so good!

Feline Greenies.
A friend told me about Greenies and how her 17 year old cat loves them. Her cat also has medical problems so the pill pockets are a blessing. I had her purchase a bag of the treats for me and my cat loves them, all of them. I just have to say Greenies and she bolts out to the kitchen. I cannot say enough about Greenies, they are wonderful.

Hairball treats made cat throw up everywhere
My cat loves the regular greenies and I thought he’d like these as well. Took a few days to find out that these were what were making him sick. Found out this treat made a lot of other cats sick as well. Shame cuz he has no problems with the normal ones.

The only treat that my cat begs for.
We were having a problem with hair balls. We went to the pet store looking for a solution and found Feline Greenies SMARTBITES. We were concerned that our cat would eat them, since she simply refused to eat anything other than her standard food. She sniffed them, gobbled them down and begged for more. She still has a hair ball once in a while, but they are usually just liquid and easy to clean up. Absoloutly the best ever!

Our babies have loved these for years, works!
What is worse than stepping in a cat's hocked up hairball? Stepping in it with your numb foot & tracking it across the room before you realize it's on your foot.
I LOVE these treats and I am not the only one. Our furbabies go nuts for these things. What was once a daily event now only happens maybe once a month. Seriously!

Feline Greenies are a A Winner in My House!
Both of my cats have been on a grain-free, gluten-free diet for years due to gastrointestinal concerns, and they have both had issues with hairballs lately. I decided to try the Feline Greenies SMARTBITES after seeing them in my local pet supply store, and it was one of the best decisions I've made for my cats. Neither has had issues with hairballs since starting these treats. They're also apparently pretty tasty since my cats follow me around the house meowing after they hear me open the bag. In the past, they couldn't have cared less about the other treats I've given them, so these will definitely be a staple in my house!
