Jornada Veterinary Clinic
Jornada Veterinary Clinic sent out a post of what to and what not to feed your dogs, and Nutro was one of the main brands on the list. They stated that the FDA has recently found this brand to be linked to canine heart failure. We recently switched my puppy over to Nutro because the ingredients presume to be ideal for animals, but they do not list all of the ingredients on the bag or the website. My pup does not eat this food and has lost weight because he will not even lick the bites. He has gotten sick the few times he has eaten the food. He has zero allergies to any foods, not even dairy, so that could not be the issue. I do not recommend this brand to anyone looking for healthy dog food.

My puppy is a great Pyrenees mix and I wanted to get a dog food that was purposely made for a larger breed of dog and that was organic and I knew I could trust this brand by just looking at the bag and reading the ingredients it’s all organic and natural and my puppy loves it. Great food!
We have been using Nutro food for about 35 years, through 4 cats and 4 dogs. Our current rescue mixed puppy mutt loves this food! Can’t go wrong with this food, for either cats or dogs!

AMAZING!!!
My puppy, now 9 weeks, had been on a BlueBaby and was experiencing vomiting and diarrhea. We switched to Nutro Large Breed Puppy Food (no transition time) and within 24 hours, his stool is normal and he has had no vomiting. This product is absolutely the best and clearly much easier on a young dogs stomach to digest!!!

I have a very picky pup named Chance. He loved eating these, and the first time he was alright with just kibble alone. After awhile though, he didn’t want to eat it unless it was mixed with something to soften up the kibble (steamed sweet potatoes, chicken, meat, etc.).

Great nutrition you can see!
My rescue pup is now 7 months old and has been on Nutro Large Breed Puppy ever since he arrived at the shelter as a 3 month old pup. His black coat shines like no other. The nutrition in this food can be seen through his beautiful condition. He is active, athletic, and healthy thanks to the excellent foundation he has in this feed.

Great Food! Doggie Favorite!
I've been feeding my English Mastiff this food since shortly after she came home with me at 8 weeks. She loves it. She eats is 3x a day and it works great compared to other "natural" brands whose products upset her stomach. Easy to chew and easy to digest. Gives her all the right nutrients. I would strongly recommend this for large breeds. Even the Nutro senior food for smaller breeds is doggie approved as our 14 year old beagle loves it as well.

Best for German Shepherds
I bought this food for my puppy GS and he loves it. He is eats it all and the best part is that the smell is not bad. I am happy to know I am feeding my dog good food.
