Addicting!

Tasty morsels for the puppy

Although they are meant for the top of the food, your dog will love these even as little treats. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received these for free from Influenster for a honest review. My dogs loved this freeze dried food. We actually used it as a food topper. My one dog is super picky and he won’t eat his food unless it has something yummy on it (like yoghurt) but he gobbled it up when I put it on his food. I also like it because you know the animals are eating good quality food that is made only out of meat with no weird additives. This is definitely great for a picky eater and is good for them. It also didn’t make their stomachs sensitive or upset.

Great as a Kibble Topper!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This product was great as a topper for kibble! I have a large dog, so I definitely wouldn’t get much use out of it as a full meal. I broke up some of the pieces a little smaller and mixed it into my dog’s kibble with some water to hydrate and she really enjoyed it!! Love the ingredients in Acana as well, they are a great brand to support!

We use it as a topper with our pup’s regular food, and he is so darn excited for every meal, he literally inhales it in seconds haha.
Don’t let the size of the package deceive you, it’s freeze dried so very light and compact, but once you ‘activate’ it by rehydration with water, it expands.
I love the clean ingredients and it’s very light making it easy to travel with. Our guy tends to be sensitive to some ingredients, but did not have any issues with this at all.

My dog loved it.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried it both as a meal and as a topper and my dog (year and a half golden retriever) loved it. I wouldn’t recommend as a meal though. I added water and stirred but nothing seem to happen. The food just stayed in its pieces and the water kind of turned into soup. Maybe I did it wrong. But my dog wolfed it down. As a topper, he would wolf down his regular dry food which, ordinarily, he just grazes when the mood strikes him. It also didn’t seem to upset his stomach, which is always a worry when I try new food for him.

Really expands in water
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We tried this a few times on my dogs food (80lb lab). It really expanded in the water so added extra bulk/food to his usual meals. He seemed to really like it!
Unfortunately he ended up vomiting but we weren’t sure why so have cut back on all extra treats & keeping his diet fairly boring.
We’ll try it again after we’re sure everything has settled for him.

Delicious - but very dry

A little more work, but a pup fav!
We had been purchasing a different dehydrated brand food as a topper for our pups when they ruined this food by producing it in America and altering the ingredients (it caused messy problems). We switched all 4 to this as a topper and they loved it immediately! We rehydrate an entire bag overnight, use a mix&mash tool to chop it up and it is ready for 3 days of topping. The bits are pretty dense so it does take some effort compared to a powdered form, but we are thrilled with the results. Good poops, Shiley coats, healthy weight, and good teeth!
