This product really does destroy cat urine!!
I just adopted a cat with Epilepsy, and his first seizure with me was a big one, causing him to fully empty his bladder onto my bed. He soaked my plush blanket, plush top and fitted sheets, and leaked to my memory foam mattress topper. I threw all the bedding into the wash, and while it cleaned up the urine, the terrible smell was dispersed throughout every fiber of the sheets and blankets! My bedroom smelled like a litter box for 2 days, then I bought this.
It's intended to be an undiluted spot treatment, but I used it as laundry detergent and fabric softener (so it's release again in the last rinse), and the smell was GONE.
Greg had a smaller seizure with only a little urine leaking, and this works perfectly as the intended spot treatment as well.
This is worth every.single.penny.
If you've been struggling with an ill or incontinent cat, you need to add this to your supply stockpile.

Disgusting scent.
I'd rather smell urine. This is the grossest cleaning product on the planet. I'd rather my dog had a urine tsunami and coat my entire room then smell this nasal crime against humanity.
I am not joking. It will ruin you. never even think of using this product.

It really is a miracle!
I tried at least half a dozen other products because my dog keeps peeing in one spot in my house (carpet). I have steam cleaned, tried different products, even bakign soda ad the smell was horrid. My friend had some of this and i just dumped it on the place where she pees and the smell was gone instantly. I love the smell of the cleaner stuff too,, its not at all overwhelming like the other reviewer said. Anyway, I'm so grateful that this worked because i was goign to have to tell my landord to rip up the carpet and replace it , this was my last ditch effort and thank Goodness it worked!

DO NOT PURCHASE - New fragrance is intolerable
You know that overwhelming chemical perfume scent used in porta potties? The one that’s so strong that it masks every other odor and lingers in the air surrounding the stall? Well, that’s how my living room smells now, a day after using this product. I’m not using this example as a metaphor; the product actually has the same scent as the chemical used in porta potties. I purchased this product in July 2018 and again in June 2020, and sometime between those dates, Nature’s Miracle changed the fragrance from a tolerable lighter scent to a fragrance that lingers for days and smells considerably worse than the dog accident it’s supposed to be cleaning. I’ve been a Nature’s Miracle customer since I got my first dog, but I guess it’s time to find another brand.

Excellent and versatile
I'm not sure why the negative reviews. I've used this product for years and it has kept my very light colored carpet in excellent shape no matter what kind of doggy accident - puppy house breaking accident, vomit leaving that awful yellow bile stain, watery diarrhea that I didn't get home to find for several hours. And when my older dog had to go on prednisone, I misjudged the impact of his increased thirst on the frequency and VOLUME of his urine! I woke up to find carpet positively drenched! I vacuumed up with a wet/dry shopvac to get as much urine as possible then mostly followed the directions on the package. I let it soak 15 minutes, but then dumped more water, shopvac again, then repeated a third time. It was a LOT of urine! After that, I blotted the remaining dampness with a towel. After it dried, the carpet looked perfect, and now enough time has passed that I can't remember precisely where that spot was.
This is an EXCELLENT product, and I'm never without it!

The only thing that worked!
I was skeptical because of the reviews but I love all Nature's Miracle products so I bought it. I rescued a senior dog who has incontinecne issues and this is the only thing that takes out the smell stain and prevents him from going in the spot again.The mell was strong but gone once dried. Loved it!

Made Everything Worse
My dog had an unfortunate accident on my couch. I heard great things about this product so I purchased it and attempted to remove the urine stain. The product covered up the odor with the most potent smell imaginable (think rest stop bathroom smell) and made the stain significantly worse. Absolutely avoid this product.

Destroyed urine odor, and my nose
This product is awful. It got rid of the urine scent, but the perfume they added is so strong that my entire upper respiratory tract is miserable. I can only imagine what this does to a dogs even more sensitive olfactory system. Will never buy again.

Didn't work nearly as well as expected
I bought this because our little dog got a UTI and had a string of accidents in our apartment. I followed the directions and it just didn't work on the large spots. It worked okay on small dribbles, but I would have thought with a name like Urine Destroyer that it would have worked on the large stains.
Also, I sent a satisfaction guarantee claim over 3 months ago and haven't received any sort of response... So if your trusting that guarantee just know its very slow, if you get it ever. Very disappointed. If I do end up getting something back I will update if I can.

It's ok
I have been using this product on my mattress every night this week to try to get rid of the urine. Using a black light I can see that it has gotten better but hasn't completely elemiminated the urine. Frustrating as I have used half of a gallon bottle and have to reapply every night! Hopefully it will eliminate everything soon and I will be able to sleep in my bed once again.

Works for me
I have a small apartment and an aging dog who doesn't make it out in time. I purchased the gallon jug a used a yard weed and pest sprayer and sprayed all the carpet and base of furniture till it was very damp. I brushed the fibers and let it dry overnight. I prefer the original vs the urine destroyer for the sent. But in times of desperation the urine destroyer did the job well.

Absolutely wonderful stuff!!!
My yorkie had chronic urinary tract infections the last 3 years and would constantly have accidents on my bedroom carpet. I could never get the smell out until I found this product!!! I put it in my carpet cleaner and the urine odor is GONE!!! I am so thankful for this product!! Now I do not have to replace the carpet!

Super disappointed!
Our dog was recently pregnant and towards the end had a few accidents in the house. Since we rent we wanted to take care of the carpets right away. We used natures miracle like directed on the bottle gave it about 2 weeks and the smell was still there so we did what was suggested for tough odors and pulled back the carpet and thourally soaked the padding underneath waited an hours and blotted as much moisture as possible and gave it another 2 weeks with fans in the room. Still had a strong odor so we took out the padding in that section of the carpet all together, soaked the sub floor and re cleaned the carpet and I still smell it. It's in one area of a room, we've done the sniff test on literally every inch of carpet in that room and the carpet still smells and only in that one area. I spent a lot of money on 3 of the gallon jugs .I was really hoping this was going to be the solution for the carpet before we move out.

Didn't completely get rid of smell
We purchased this product to get rid of the urine odor in our carpet. Used twice and didn't completely get rid of the smell. Seemed to until it dried. We also added peroxide and baking soda with lavender hoping that would assist but still can smell the urine.

Made the smell 10x worse.. :(
I had heard great things about this so when I was at the petstore and my mother suggested buying it for our house as well as my apartment, I jumped at the idea. We bought 4 bottles in total - two of the urine destroyer, and two of the stain remover. Big mistake.
I tried a bit of it and it wasn't so bad. My dog doesn't really have accidents but sometimes does use a pad, and someones a bit of it would get onto the floor. I always would soak and wash them away but knew that it didn't get 100% out. The urine smell was never unbearable but sometimes on wet and warm days it would surface. I followed the suggestions and soaked all the areas with the product. There was a strong smell (the product smell) but at the time it was fine. However, I started to notice the urine smell get stronger and stronger..
I looked online as I was worried and saw that a lot of people said it takes time and gets worse before it gets better. Well, it's been awhile now and it's not getting better. The room smells so strongly I can't even stay in there most of the time! It makes me sick! Even with the window open, the odor is still so strong.I don't know if the formula was changed or something but I do NOT see what the hype is about.
The smell is an awful mix of the product smell (that has yet to fade) and a strong smell of urine. I honestly don't know which is worse.
Sad that I have the two bottles and the one at home was probably opened as well. So I'm out way too much money for a product that has made things WORSE. Now I'm scared the smell is so bad that when I move out of my apartment, I'm going to have to replace the carpets.

Awful perfume smell
This is my first time using this and I saturated the area as the instructions said and now we are stuck with this awful smell that is giving us all headaches and I don't know how to get rid of it. If it were unscented I might try it again.

Nothing Else Works!
I have tried every product to get fresh and old urine smell out of my carpet and padding! This product is amazing and unlike other brands with enzymes Nature's Miracle doesn't give me a headache or bother my dog either. Just because the urine spot is 2" it has spread underneath to 5"-6". Pour this product on, let sit overnight and blot. Amazing!!

Stinky, Perfume-like, Asthma-inducing New Scent
The perfume scent Nature's Miracle has added to its former pleasant-smelling formula is somewhat unbearable. I am allergic to most scents and when I sprayed the new improved NM on the floor where my cats' litter box had resided for a week, my sinuses and throat went into a tailspin. I plan on returning the gallon-size product to PetSmart. I have used Nature's Miracle for odor control in my multi-pet home for over 10 years. Maybe you should offer a choice, unscented and scented Nature's Miracle. Now there's a marketing solution that's a win-win.

New and Improved Smells Horrible...
I absolutely LOVED the old urine destroyer which worked very well and had a nice clean scent that I actually enjoyed! I am so disappointed that I repurchased to find the "New Improved" formula smells like cheap floral perfume and baby powder :( So Disappointed!!! Please bring back the old formula as I will not repurchase this new product anymore.

Terrible scent!
I just bought a gallon of this from Amazon and will be returning. The bottle is still wrapped in plastic and the smell is so strong that there's no way I'm using this in my house.
The previous bottle I had was just fine. Too bad you ruined a good product.

Don't like the "new and improved"

Works with some definite elbow grease
I have found by completely saturating the area, letting it soak for an hour and then scrubbing like a mad woman, rinse, let dry then repeat.....takes care of the urine odor. Yes, first treatment produces a pretty unpleasant odor until I can start all over. Gave it 4 stars because having to use the amount of product I am finding it really takes, gets pretty pricey. But I guess it's cheaper than buying new carpet.

Too much perfume!
I had used this product in the past and loved it because it worked. I needed a new bottle of it, and it is so heavily perfumed that my family is coughing and our eyes are burning. Why the change? Is the perfume doing the work of the enzymes now? I'm still trying to get the smell of it out of my house, and it's been a week now. I would never recommend this particular product to anyone!

Dont bother
Followed instructions and all this product did was make it smell 10x worse. I even went as far as pulling up the carpet to apply to both sides. I also cut away padding and disgarded it. I resently purchased the Advanced formula but have not used it yet. I would like a refund seeing how i pretty much threw away about $15.00 for 32 ounces of nothing.

i have tried all kinds of stuff to get rid of cat urine rented a carpet shampooer with furniture attachements with no improvement at all. Nature miracle works!!! its awesome..thank goodness because I would have had to buy a new couch. reccommend to anyone who has a cat

Horrible
So, I used Nature's Miracle YEARS ago and loved it. Thankfully hadn't had a need to use it for quite awhile, however, my dog decided to start marking and peeing in my dining room due to separation anxiety. I purchased the Urine Destroyer and wow, Nature's Miracle seriously missed the mark on this one! First I will say it took the stain out without a problem. My grey carpet was in fact grey without any staining whatsoever. HOWEVER, with that being said, it made my entire 3000 sq ft house absolutely smell horrible of urine, and then a horrible strong perfume smell. I had my windows open continuously for almost a week airing the place out and it STILL has a faint perfume odor. I understand that it is supposed to bring up the urine smell but does it need the strong perfume to go with it?
Onto how it actually works...it doesn't! So, after I soaked the carpet (yes I followed the instructions to the letter), let it sit, scrubbed it, etc and let it dry. I go over the places with a blacklight and it's much lighter but still there. So, I give it a few days, reapply and same thing. After a couple of weeks now the stains (under a blacklight only I should add) are there in full force like I never cleaned them (and again, YES, I cleaned down to the padding) and if you got down to smell it, it smelled horribly of urine. And the horribly strong perfume smell of this product has caused my asthma to flare up something awful.
I personally do not recommend this product.
