Not durable or rugged!
I bought this toy a few days ago, but in the first 5 minutes of play, my dog had already chewed into the "durable" plastic center. Not safe - will try to return to the store.

My dog loved it for 15 mins and then it broke.
Didn’t even get a chance to throw it into the ocean for him to fetch. Very disappointed and I had high hopes because of the advertising.

Didn’t last 30 minutes
I bought this rugged bumper thinking it would be as good as their balls but a 1year old chewed thru the strap & the top within 30 minutes. Very disappointed.

Take rugged out of the title
My 37lb dog gets very excited about dock diving. This toy only lasted 10 splashes. She's not allowed to tug with it but she bites down hard when she retrieves it. While it's my fave to throw from the dock, I don't want to replace it after every competition.

End broke off 2nd time in the pool. Not durable at all. All we were doing was playing fetch.

Best toy for my chewer!
My springer is an aggressive chewer and destroys most all of his toys. I purchased this for use outdoors in supervised fetch games. He absolutely loves it! He loves to run around carrying it by the strap and swinging it side to side, he also runs around flexing his jaw on the ribbed rubber. He has not destroyed any part of it yet and we've had it a few months. I'm ordering another for use at the lake this summer.
