Fluval Flex Aquarium - easy set up, hides cords
I was so happy with this product I bought a second one this year. There are many things I like about it:
- The bowed front makes it seem larger
- All the filters, heater (not included) are hidden
- It is super quiet
- The lighting works great for plants
- The lighted lid is pretty good and has a hole for feeding.
- The LES lights change colors
- The packaging was very good
- EVERYONE I have talked to that owns one, wants to get another one.
Some negatives:
- It is expensive, but similar to other all-in-one tanks
- The remote control for the lights has about 12 color options, but some buttons don't seem to do anything.
- Be aware that if it says 9 gallons, the filter area in the back takes up about one gallon.
In my 9 Gallon tank I had 3 neon tetras, one Cory-catfish and one Beta. That seemed a out right.
One last tip: there are some good YouTube videos online about how to set up and how to clean a Fluval tank and filter.
