Wayyyyy too small for any small animal.
i had two variations of Crittertrail cages, my smaller dwarf hamster kept escaping, and the larger ones would get stuck in their tunnels. way too pricey for a teeny tiny cage that isn’t even the right side for a hamster. 0/10 would not recommend any of these small plastic crittertrail cages to anyone ever.

Fecal Slinger
New hamster owner here. I let my 9 and 4 year old pick out hamsters. They loved this cage. I really don't know what I'm doing with hamsters. All new. I get this home and try to assemble it. The instructions aren't very clear and with my children "helping" it was so fun. Well after I get it all together and try to put the water bottle on, I realize that it is extremely small and hits the slide/ramp. Not a great location. We get the hamsters in and let them get settled. I go back in to look at them and realize I made a huge mistake buying this cage. I knew there would be animal waste, but didn't think about the hamster wasting in the wheel, then running and slinging it out all over the place! It is so gross. I have it on a garbage bag and bought a hand held vac just to suck up hamster waste. All in all, not good.

My daughter’s favorite
This is the cage my 12 year old had to have for her 2 Chinese dwarf hamsters. It was the 2nd one we had bought at the time to expand their living space. We had no issues attaching their tubing to connect the 2 cages and then to the 3rd cage. Don’t plan on adding a tower or much that goes up with this cage as the top wheel gets in the way. It’s her hamsters favorite wheel out of the 3 they have so my daughter has to clean it daily to not have it smell and so her hamsters aren’t in a dirty area. Our water bottle did leak but I called kaytee customer service and they sent us a replacement free of charge. I was worried the bedding trays would not fit in this cage as it’s listed a different size then the trays but they fit perfect. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I wished it had a tray to catch the hamster’s droppings when it ran in the wheel and they could drop out better so you didn’t have to hear them when the hamsters running up there. My daughter’s already saving up for her 4th kaytee cage.

Too Small
Another "hamster" cage that is wayy too small for a hamster, let alone any small pet. Not even close to the minimum 450 sq inches of floorspace they need.
