Cleaning: Maintaining a clean habitat will keep your pet happy and healthy. We recommend removing all bedding and washing your pet's home with a diluted soap solution once a week. Be sure to rinse thoroughly to remove any soap reside before adding new bedding. Spot clean on a daily basis to extend time between cleanings. Frequency will depend on the size of your pet's home, and the number of pets.
Caution: As with any changes to your pet's care, you should observe your pet closely for changes in behavior. Potential risk of impaction exists if you pet ingests a significant amount of any type of bedding. If you suspect impaction, discontinue use immediately and seek veterinary care.

Paper bedding is where it’s at!!

Perfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 3 year old holland lop and we have been using the natural bedding since we got him. It’s super soft, so he often likes to lay down in it when it’s freshly changed!
This stuff is super absorbent. I change his litter box 2-3x a week and never notice any odors. Would 12/10 recommend to anyone looking for a good litter!

Bedding product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I've used this brand for both of my hamsters cages and it's the only one I've used for them and my guinea pigs toilet area as it's really absorbant and omg you can't get me started on how soft this bedding is!!!! It's perfect for hamsters as they love to burrow and sleep in their burrows in the bedding and it's really easy for him to burrow to thanks to the material. I would 1,000,000% recommend for any kind of small animals that can use bedding !!!! It's also dust free so no sneezing or allergy flare ups, ect!!! I'm in love with this bedding and so are my babies ❤️

Really good quality paper bedding
I've been using carefresh paper bedding for years and I'm really happy to say that the quality has not decreased at all. It is the most dust free paper bedding out of all the other brands I've tried and of course burrow friendly. I love it and I'm sure my little hammy does too :) Absolutely worth every penny.

Perfect for small animals!
I’ve been using CareFresh’s paper bedding for the past year and a half when I got my first hamster. I have never switched since! The bedding holds my hamsters burrow really well (see photo - this was the white unscented), and is very price friendly considering the amount you get. I also use it for my rabbit’s litter box and it does an AMAZING JOB at absorbing urine liquid and smell despite being unscented. My rabbit loves digging in the bedding when I put it in her dig box. Highly recommend for anyone that has various small animal species - this is one product that you can use across all of them!

My favorite bedding ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried different brands of bedding, but Carefresh paper bedding has to be my favorite. The biggest reason I like it it’s because it’s actually dust free compare to the other brands I’ve used, and it’s very easy to expand. Also, I have a long haired hamster and Carefresh paper bedding doesn’t stick to his fur as much whenever he comes out from his burrows which is really nice. My personal preference will be the white bedding, as it makes it easier for you to see where your hamsters pee and store their food, which is easier for cleaning. I highly recommend Carefresh paper bedding!

only product our rescue will use
i run an animal rescue and we go through so many bags of carefresh bedding for our small animal section. All the animals seem very happy when we use carefresh vs other brands. There is low dust when using this bedding, and the odor absorption is top notch. Having a clean and fresh smelling rescue is very important to our animals and any potential adopters. We will only use carefresh now, after trying so many other brands and bedding types.

Bedding has terrible odor right out of the bag .
Used to love this bedding but now has terrible odor to it before even using . When opening the bag it’s putrid . Same for the Sprinkles color as well . Not sure if ingredients or manufacturing process has changed . Very disappointing.

Eventually one day I stumbled upon Carefresh in Petsmart when they happened to be out of stock of the Living world paper bedding. I decided that I would give Carefresh a shot…and I haven’t stopped buying Carefresh since! Carefresh is by far my favorite small animal paper bedding brand! Every hamster that I have owned has REALLY enjoyed their 10 inches deep of Carefresh bedding! Carefresh holds burrows really well, is very low dust, and soft... OH! And DON'T forget... locks in pee odors! A must have for me! :) I highly recommend Carefresh! I have really seen a difference in Carefresh compared to other leading paper bedding brands. In my years of owning hamsters this is the best it's ever been with Carefresh by me and my 2 hamsters side! Without a doubt Kara and Nate (my Syrian hamsters) LOVE Carefresh! I recommend Carefresh to all my friends!

Major Staple!
There’s a reason why Carefresh is like the number one brand when it comes to small pet bedding! This stuff helps with Odor and feels nice and soft for my mice and hamsters. Even the vet clinics I worked out only bought this brand! Love this stuff!

We love it so much
We have bunnies, hamsters and guinea pigs and let me tell you this brand keeps the smell and moisture at bay. This is the best thing we have ever came across. Believe me, we've tried every brand possible. I highly highly highly recommend them.

Best bedding
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My guineas absolutely love this bedding as much as I do. I have tried many paper bedding products and nothing beats this. Carefresh by far has been 99.9% dust free and odor absorbent as advertised. This has been the only bedding that has not contributed to respiratory illness among other health issues within my pets.

Great for piggies!
I have used this bedding for my guinea pigs since 2005. They love it! It's soft on their feet and easy to spot-clean. I prefer the natural color so I can easily remove soiled bedding, but the colors are fun, too!

Excellent product!!

Amazing Choice
I have used this bedding for 8 years with so many small animals. It continues to be my favorite, almost dust free bedding. It has wonderful ammonia control and I can rarely smell it, even when it’s time to change.
