My wife is thrilled
Keeps our 40# puppy out of the kitchen. The puppy was making meal preparation challenging.

Definitely works, but scuffed my walls.
Overall, I have been fairly pleased with the gate, but it does have some room to improve. I am currently in an apartment and need to keep my pups upstairs while I am at work - my downstairs neighbor kept complaining about the sound of them playing. The pads that came with the gate slid off and I cannot drill holes into the walls, so the gate has ended up making some pretty visible marks on the walls. But it does work, it is easy to use, and it does not look half bad.
