Nice System
I've had this unit for a little over 30 days, the first time I set it up, I didn't use warm enough water so nothing happened, but Fluval sent me extra Yeast and it started producing CO2 after about 20 hours. I like that it's BIO CO2 vs pressurized, makes me feel safer that is doesn't have enough CO2 in to kill my fish. The first time I tried to restart the unit, I couldn't get the lid off, but that was because the unit still had built up pressure, all you have to do it open the regulator up all the way (I removed the airline tubing) and the lid came off with ease. Overall great system, would recommend.

The system works fine until you have to remove the cap to replace the yeast...because the cap seals on and is almost impossible to remove. I'm a reasonably strong man and literally bruised my hands trying to remove the top. I barely even screwed it on to begin with because I didn't trust the metal-on-metal way it's designed but it didn't do any good. I spent a good 15 minutes chucking the canister into my driveway before the cap finally released, at ehich point it was destroyed anyway. This product is trash and a complete waste of money. The fact that this system is as expensive as it is while being so poorly designed is insulting and I'll never buy another fluval product as long as I live.
